The work.
Design-build of the city’s Transportation Management System, including a rebuilt Traffic Management Center. The existing operations room was demolished and finished with a Nanolumens video wall, new servers, a video management system, new furniture, and lighting so staff can monitor traffic cameras citywide. The job also upgraded the city’s fiber optic network and installed new Ethernet switches so cameras and field devices feed the TMC on a current network.
The benefit.
Staff can see and run the city’s traffic system from one modern operations room, on a fiber network that can carry the cameras and devices they need. Incidents get a faster, coordinated response for people on those streets.
